Personal Investment Consulting
Trust is the most important thing when you are looking for help with your investments. You need to trust that the person you are working with is competent and that they’ll do the right thing for you. Always. Trust is earned.
My name is Mark D. Hines, and I created Blue Harbinger to help you make better, smarter, more profitable investment decisions. Throughout my nearly two-decade career in the industry, I have been laser focused on building top quality investment portfolios, as well as fighting back against Wall Street's hidden fees and conflicts of interest. I have managed investment portfolios ranging from small ETF-only strategies to large multi-billion dollar investment programs. I hold a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
I offer fee-only investment consulting services because I know the industry status quo is not good enough. “Better. Smarter. More Profitable.” That’s been one of the mottos at Blue Harbinger since day one. By helping investors construct appropriately diversified, low-cost, investment portfolios to meet their individual needs, they can do dramatically better over the long-term than what is offered via the traditional investment advisor models.
I offer investment advice on a fiduciary basis. That means I am legally obligated to act in your best interest. I don’t get paid commissions, I’m not forced to push any specific products, and I get great personal satisfaction from showing investors how to avoid the costly mistakes that were “built into the system” by greedy Wall Street people over many decades.
I work with a local independent wealth management firm that was founded by my classmate from graduate school. This allows me to leverage all of the tools, resources, and people that are available through that office.
I offer complimentary investment portfolio reviews to see if I can help you get on track to meet your goals. Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss.
